Ceramic stones are logical choices as heat diffusers (indirect set-ups) in ceramic cooking.  A couple reason why are: (1) the stones are flat, (2) the stone's shape is round and (3) the stone size can vary to match the cook size.  Drip Pans are a simple way to keep the cooker clean.   We recommend foiling the Drip Pan for easy pan clean up.
