Large Adjustable Rig Sliding Oval Combo includes: Large Adjustable Rig with Pair Crossbars, 13"x17" Oval Ceramic Stone, Large Slide Guide with Crossbar & 13"x17" Oval Stainless Grid.
If you love babyback ribs or brisket and won't do big (3+) pork butt cooks, then this combo package might be for you. We include all the necessary pieces to smoke the long meat cuts. Plus, not to worry, the conventional one grid cooks are still possible.
Platform: The large Adjustable Rig with Pair of Crossbars is the base platform for your cooks. The Rig sits on the fire ring. Use the Crossbars to set stones, pans, grids and such 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 inches above the fire ring. The Rig positions the large 18" stock grid 6" above the fire ring.
Indirect Piece: We designed our exclusive 13x17 Oval Ceramic Stone to extend indirect coverage under longer meat cuts. The Oval shape provides extended protection with minimal impact on air circulation. For indirect cooks, we recommend setting the Oval Stone on the Rig's lowest bracket setting, approximately 1.5" above the fire ring. Having it up and off the fire ring opens up the top of the fire ring. We also recommend using foil on the Oval Stone to catch drippings.
Large Slide Guide: Our exclusive Slide Guide rail system lets the 13"x17" Oval Stainless Grid slide in and out for easy food handling. It's as easy as sliding an oven rack in your oven. We recommend setting the Slide Guide on Level 3.0, middle bracket setting.
Cooking Grid: We include the 13"x17" Oval Stainless Grid and recommend setting it on the Slide Guide for easy in and out. The large 18" stock grid will go on top the rig for the second cooking grid. With this set-up, you can do at least four racks of babyback/st. louis ribs (ribs lay flat for easy foiling & saucing), two brisket flats or a flat/packer combination, two pork butts, 2-4 spatchcock chickens and a bunch of grillin’! To access the lower Oval Grid, you'll need to pull the Rig but it's a quick and easy move.

Please note, the Slide Oval Combo weighs approximately 16 pounds without food. If that is more than you can handle safely, you might consider the Large Adjustable Rig Customer Combo where you can build the indirect set-up on the Spider.

I picked this up after my BGE purchase to give me more room for food and height options. It definitely serves that purpose. You can fit more food on at once and also elevate it. I have since picked up the extender to add more height and room. It's a must have with it. I also picked up the PSWOO2 because I have a platesetter and use it just as much because I like the handles. You can't go wrong with either setup.

I've read several good reviews and gotten recommendations from others on this product in the past. After hearing such great things, I finally caved in and bought it. Couldn't be more thrilled. What a great product, and very innovative, in my opinion, compare to what's available from BGE. If you're on the fence, I would say bite the bullet, you won't be disappointed.
Cooking wise, the thing I've noticed the biggest improvement on so far is Pizza. For one, the A/R rig gets the pizza stone a little higher up into the dome, second of all, I think the air space between the pizza stone and the heat deflector stone also improved how the pizza came out.

I called and the R&B oval set-up was recommended based on what I wanted to cook on BGE. After the first brisket I am happy with the choice. Looking forward to trying other things in the rig!

Talk about doubling your grill area and easy to set up and use. The added height gives the feeling that you are not cooking so fast and adds a feeling of better control. I am very pleased with the hardware and recommend this rig to every egghead.

This will definitely take your cooking to the next level! Everything I cook from brisket to ribs to chicken is noticeably easier to cook using this product. This also greatly expands how much will fit in the egg. Since I purchased this set up my platesetter hasn't left the storage cabinet. I have been using this setup for 3 years without s single problem. The build quality is excellent and will probably last a lifetime!

This rig is by far the best system you can find for making all your cooks possible. It doesn't matter if you want multi level cooks going on or if you want to sear something close to the fire or put a stone on the top and cook a pizza.

Bought the other combo for my 1st egg ~3 years ago. It works well but I bought this one for my 2nd egg and I find this one much better when it comes to ribs and general use. Design is also improved compared to "old" design. Definitely top quality. Don't forget to get the little oval foil ring to go with it.

I had my BGE about 8 months when I finally decided to buy the AR R&B combo for my large Egg. It has really changed the way I cook. Not only have I drastically increased the amount of cooking space I have available, but the ability to go from indirect to direct for reverse searing has changed the way I plan and cook meals. Now that I have it, I don't know how I got along without it for so long. You too will not be disappointed. Shipping to Canada unfortunately isn't cheap, but we all know CGS has no control over that. Shipping was my main reason for delay. Don't let it be yours. I've not regretted it for a second.

I spoke to a representative on the phone who adviced me on which product to buy (R&B Combo). I felt like he had my best interests at heart and believe this to be a reputable company. Shipping was quick and I got the rig just in time for Labor Day weekend grilling. The rig allows you to make maximum use of the limited space in the Large BGE. I already cooked a Spatchcock Chicken and was very happy with the results. Next up are two Boston Butts!

I'd be lost without this thing. The ability to remove everything with a single lift is amazing. Now whenever I need to make adjustments to the meat I simply lift the Rig out and close the BGE dome. The dome temp stays under control and I can take my time with the cook.
It's also very easy to throw wood chunks in while the rig is in the cooker because of the gap the 13X17 indirect stone allows.
It's unbelievable how sturdy this unit is too. I've had this loaded up with 2 13 lb briskets and had no problem lifing the whole thing out (stone and all). It makes cooking and even greater experience.
